Daniel Morales Wagner, CEO of Ingelectus, has participated in the VIII Edition of the Excellence Mentoring Programme, an initiative organised by Mujer e Ingeniería and that this year has celebrated its first edition with the Universidad de Sevilla. In this edition have participated almost twenty students of the last years of the degrees and Masters in Engineering, Physics and Mathematics that are taught in the Sevillian university and ten companies in the field of engineering and industry.
The closing ceremony for this programme took place on 12 September at the University of Seville’s School of Engineering (ETSi). This event, in whose organisation the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAING) also participated, was presided over by Andrés Sáez Pérez, director of the School of Engineering of the University of Seville. The event was also attended by Jaime Domínguez Abascal, president of the RAING, Sara Gómez Martín, director of the ‘Women and Engineering’ Project at the RAING, and Catalina Gómez Quiles, director of the Secretariat of Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the University of Seville.
From February to September, Morales, as a participant in this programme, held sessions and meetings with Ana Trujillo Trasmonte, a graduate in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Seville. ‘The experience as a mentor has been very enriching. Listening to Ana’s concerns has allowed me to learn about the vision of the future that young women have today and to reflect on my role as a company manager’, said Morales after the day.

The main objective of the programme has been to offer the students a clear and practical vision of the competences and skills demanded by the labour market today, as well as to offer them the opportunity to become aware of their individual talents and abilities, discovering how to enhance them in their future professional career.
