Ingelectus increases its turnover by 25% over the past year

Ingelectus, a Seville-based company specialised in cutting-edge technological solutions to optimise the power grid, has announced a 25% increase in its business volume in the last financial year, reaching a total turnover of 1.2 million euros.

To achieve this milestone, Ingelectus has developed a business plan based on talent acquisition, internationalisation, excellence and strategic partnerships, with the aim of continuing to grow its equity year after year.

In this way, the company – a spin-off from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Seville – is consolidating its position as one of the Andalusian firms with the greatest growth potential in the technology sector for the energy transition.

According to Daniel Morales, CEO of Ingelectus, “this remarkable growth has been possible thanks, first and foremost, to the work of the professionals who are part of the company: a diverse team of electrical, telecommunications, IT and energy engineers with skills in programming and data management, who share the same philosophy and vision of the energy of the future.”

With 16 employees and a constantly expanding workforce, the Seville-based company has experienced its strongest business growth in the field of renewable energies and power distribution, combining R&D&I projects with product development and consulting services.

In this regard, since 2015 Ingelectus has supplied and contributed to the commissioning of more than 140 controlled switching relays, a contribution that has directly enhanced grid stability. In addition, the technology firm has succeeded in positioning itself in the international market through the development of a Power Plant Controller (PPC) that regulates more than 2.5 GW (soon to be 3.1 GW) of controlled power in photovoltaic and wind installations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile and Spain.
