Ingelectus has taken part for the second year in a row in the II Smart Grids Congress organised by the Spanish power networks platform Futured. The event, held on 23 November in the Assembly Hall of the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT) in Madrid, brought together leading players in the sector to share the challenges and opportunities facing the electricity industry, as well as to showcase the technological advances achieved in recent years.
Rubén Carmona Pardo, Head of Data Analytics at Ingelectus, took part in a panel together with Beatriz Alonso Santos from Iberdrola, Jose Pablo Chaves Avila from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE, Eva Faure Ortiz from Endesa and Pablo Martínez-Fresneda Cereceda from Red Eléctrica. The speakers exchanged ideas and experiences on key topics for the industry, such as electrical flexibility, smart grids, capacity in distribution networks, new regulatory requirements, voltage control and the platforms that facilitate access to data.
“From Ingelectus we have presented the main results of the DT4Flex project, together with Fernando Rubio Villar from Cuerva, through which we have succeeded in increasing the capacity of low-voltage networks. In the presentation we focused on the optimal planning of the operation of distributed flexible resources. In addition, we shared with attendees the new tool of Ingelectus’ Ingrid Platform for calculating photovoltaic hosting capacity,” highlighted Rubén Carmona Pardo.
